About Minimalist News
Updated 23 October 2026
Minimalist News is a news discovery website that brings together attributed headlines, permitted publisher excerpts and a small collection of editorially reviewed summaries. Links lead to the original reporting for full context.
Who operates the site
Minimalist News is operated by Azeddine Dali, an individual operator based in Morocco. It is not operated through a company.
The site is intended for english-speaking readers. Specific target countries have not been defined. For questions or corrections, use azeddine@dalil.dev.
The site does not claim to have produced the original reporting. A source listing, link or licence credit does not imply a partnership, endorsement or independent verification of a publisher’s claims.
What you can expect
Latest news follows original publication dates, with stable ordering for ties. Category filters and search help you browse. Coverage varies substantially by topic, geography and publisher; this is not a comprehensive world news service. Research features, analysis, opinion and institutional announcements are identified when the available information supports a label.
Feeds are checked by one scheduled server job every 30 minutes. Individual checks can be deferred by publisher polling limits or retry delays. Feed status shows successful checks and failures; a recent check does not necessarily mean a new story.
Summaries and scoring
Automatic AI processing is disabled. Previously AI-assisted summaries that received editorial review remain available and are labelled “Editorially reviewed summary.” Review checks supplied source material; it is not independent fact-checking of the original reporting.
No numeric significance scores or measured publisher-coverage counts were available in the live audit on 23 October 2026. A “Not scored” label does not mean an assessment is scheduled. See How scoring works for the rubric and its limits.
Read the Editorial & Sources Policy for selection, attribution and corrections. Operator and contact information is addressed on the Contact page.
